Biography

Nouf has an MSc. in molecular genetics from King Abdualaziz University (Saudi Arabia). She is interested in characterizing candidate genes identified as potential contributors to salinity tolerance. In collaboration with Bernd Müller-Röber and Salma Balazadeh (MPI, Golm, Germany), she is using a reverse genetic approach to characterize a transcription factor that is hypothesized to regulate several other genes involved in salinity response.
