Dayana at the International Polyploidy Conference 2026!

20 October, 2026

We are proud to highlight the participation of Dayana, a PhD researcher in the International Polyploidy Conference (IPC 2026), held this September in Wageningen, the Netherlands! 🇳🇱

During the conference, Dayana presented her research poster titled “Factors Influencing Genome Stabilization in Synthetic Allotetraploid Tomatoes,” sharing insights into plant genome stabilization and contributing to scientific discussions on polyploidy and plant genetics.

As her first international scientific conference, IPC 2026 marked an important milestone in her research journey, offering opportunities to connect with scientists from around the world, exchange knowledge, and explore the latest advances in polyploidy research.

We congratulate Dayana on this achievement and recognize the valuable guidance and support of Professor Mark Tester, Dr. Yveline Pailles, and research specialist Hanna Tolliday in advancing this research.

Her participation reflects KAUST’s commitment to supporting emerging researchers, fostering international scientific collaboration, and advancing innovative plant science research for a more sustainable future.
