Research Interests
Lina's work focuses on the interaction between tomato plants and Ralstonia solanacearum, one of the most destructive bacterial pathogens in agriculture. Her mission is to help develop tomato varieties that can resist infection and stop the disease in the roots, contributing to a problem that ultimately touches all of us: food security.
