Nadia Al-Tamimi

PhD Students

Introduction

Nadia graduated in Biochemistry from University College London (U.K.) and has a MSc. in Biosciences from King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (K.S.A). She joined the PhD in plant sciences at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (K.S.A) in January 2015. She is interested in Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) to identify loci associated with traits contributing to salinity tolerance in rice.

Research Interests

Interests include various methods in molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics and genetics to further investigate how certain plants adapt to saline environments, and determining molecular genetic basis of various traits that are hypothesized to contribute to salinity tolerance.
